The original submission stays unchanged

The private source remains preserved. Public copies are reviewed, redacted and watermarked.

Every value needs visible support

A published transcription stays connected to the submitted form and the decision that approved it.

People remain accountable

Automation may suggest or flag. Human review, corrections and conflict decisions are recorded.

Corrections append; they do not erase

A later correction creates a new revision. Earlier evidence and decisions remain part of the history.

Citizen evidence stays separate

Citizen contributions cannot affect reviewed platform totals before human review.

Sponsors cannot influence evidence

Funding never changes review order, publication decisions or platform totals.

How a record is labelled

These are platform evidence statuses, not official electoral decisions.

RECEIVED

Evidence has arrived but has not yet passed human review.

UNDER REVIEW

A person is checking the form and transcription.

ACCEPTED FOR PUBLICATION

Nigeria Elects has approved this platform record for public display.

CHALLENGED

Competing evidence or a material objection needs resolution.

RESUBMISSION REQUIRED

The image cannot support a clear public transcription.

SUPERSEDED

A later reviewed revision is current. Earlier history remains visible.

Clear legal boundary

Nigeria Elects publishes its own civic evidence record. It does not conduct elections, collate or certify official results, declare winners, or replace INEC, tribunals or courts.
